Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 1/2 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp honey

Shrimp Ingredients

  • 10 large shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails removed)
  • 1 1/2 tsp avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 2 1/2 tablespoons sriracha, 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice, and 1/2 teaspoon honey until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
  2. Season the Shrimp: Place the 10 large peeled and deveined shrimp in a bowl. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt evenly over the shrimp. Toss to coat all shrimp thoroughly with the seasoning.
  3. Cook the Shrimp: Heat 1 1/2 teaspoons avocado oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned shrimp in a single layer. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side or until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and slightly crispy on the edges. Remove from heat.
  4. Toss Shrimp in Sauce: Transfer the cooked shrimp to a mixing bowl and pour the prepared Bang Bang sauce on top. Gently toss until the shrimp are fully coated with the creamy and spicy sauce.
  5. Serve: Serve the spicy Bang Bang shrimp immediately as an appetizer or over rice or a salad for a light meal.
