Marshmallow Swirl Fudge Recipe

  • Author: Lila
  • Total Time: 2 hours 20 minutes
  • Yield: 16 squares 1x

Description

Marshmallow Swirl Fudge is a rich, creamy, and chocolatey no-bake treat featuring gooey swirls of marshmallow fluff. This easy-to-make fudge requires no baking or candy thermometer—just melt, swirl, and chill to enjoy decadent squares perfect for any chocolate lover’s craving.

Ingredients

Scale

Fudge Base

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt

Marshmallow Swirl

  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff (or marshmallow cream)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and melted butter together, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  2. Add the vanilla and salt. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt until fully incorporated, enhancing the fudge’s flavor depth.
  3. Pour into the pan. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, then evenly spread the melted chocolate fudge mixture into the dish.
  4. Add the marshmallow swirl. Spoon dollops of marshmallow fluff on top of the fudge, then gently drag a knife through it to create thick, creamy swirls without overmixing, ensuring visible marshmallow ribbons throughout.
  5. Chill and set. Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until firm to allow it to set completely and develop the perfect texture.
  6. Cut and serve. Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper, cut into squares with a sharp knife, and enjoy your rich chocolate and marshmallow treat!

Notes

  • Use marshmallow fluff instead of mini marshmallows for smooth, creamy swirls.
  • Don’t overmix the marshmallow swirl to keep thick, visible ribbons.
  • Chill fudge for at least 2 hours to ensure clean cutting.
  • Sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top for a delicious s’mores twist.
  • For toasted marshmallow flavor, lightly torch the top after swirling.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the fridge up to 1 week or freeze up to 3 months.
