  • 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 tbsp water (optional, for thinning)

Garnish:

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 23 green onions (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Toss the chicken pieces in cornstarch until fully coated.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Add chicken in batches, avoiding overcrowding. Cook for 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: Stir in honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened. Add water if needed to adjust consistency.
  4. Coat the Chicken: Toss the cooked chicken in the prepared sauce until well coated.
  5. Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
