- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat and Melt: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place butter in an 8-inch square baking dish and let it melt in the preheating oven.
- Create Dry Mix: Mix flour, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder in a bowl. Stir in milk and vanilla until smooth.
- Prepare Topping: Combine 1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa powder in another bowl.
- Assemble and Bake: Pour the dry mix over the melted butter in the baking dish. Sprinkle the sugar-cocoa mixture on top. Slowly pour boiling water over everything. Bake for about 30 minutes or until set.
