Beat the summer heat with this refreshing Cherry Limeade made with real cherries. It’s a perfect balance of sweet cherries and tangy lime that will cool you down on a hot day.

Cherry Limeade:

  • 1 ½ cup fresh or frozen pitted cherries (10 ounces)
  • 3 cups filtered water (divided)
  • ¾ cup cane sugar
  • 1 cup lime juice (810 limes, freshly squeezed)

To Serve:

  • Ice
  • Fresh lime slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pit and Prepare Cherries: Pit fresh cherries or allow frozen cherries to thaw for 30 minutes.
  2. Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine cherries, 2 cups of water, and cane sugar. Blend until smooth.
  3. Strain and Mix: Strain the cherry mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl. Add the remaining water and lime juice. Stir well.
  4. Serve: Add ice to glasses, pour in the cherry limeade, and garnish with lime slices. Enjoy!

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to suit your taste.
