Beat the summer heat with this refreshing Cherry Limeade made with real cherries. It’s a perfect balance of sweet cherries and tangy lime that will cool you down on a hot day.
Ingredients

Cherry Limeade:
- 1 ½ cup fresh or frozen pitted cherries (10 ounces)
- 3 cups filtered water (divided)
- ¾ cup cane sugar
- 1 cup lime juice (8 – 10 limes, freshly squeezed)
To Serve:
- Ice
- Fresh lime slices for garnish
Instructions
- Pit and Prepare Cherries: Pit fresh cherries or allow frozen cherries to thaw for 30 minutes.
- Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine cherries, 2 cups of water, and cane sugar. Blend until smooth.
- Strain and Mix: Strain the cherry mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl. Add the remaining water and lime juice. Stir well.
- Serve: Add ice to glasses, pour in the cherry limeade, and garnish with lime slices. Enjoy!
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to suit your taste.
- For a fizzy version, top off the drink with some soda water.
