Description

This 2-Ingredient Ninja Creami Watermelon Sorbet is a refreshing, easy-to-make frozen treat perfect for hot days. Combining fresh watermelon with hydrating coconut water, this sorbet requires just a few simple steps and minimal ingredients, making it a quick, healthy dessert option with a delightfully smooth texture achieved using the Ninja Creami machine.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 cup+ cubed watermelon
  • 1 cup+ coconut water

Instructions

  1. Prepare Watermelon: Cut off the rind of the watermelon and chop the flesh into small cubes for easier blending and processing.
  2. Fill Container: Place the diced watermelon into a Ninja Creami pint container up to the max fill line. Pour coconut water into the container until it reaches the max fill line as well, ensuring balanced liquid content.
  3. Freeze: Secure the lid on the pint container and place it in the freezer on a flat, level surface. Freeze overnight for 12 to 24 hours to allow the mixture to freeze completely.
  4. Preheat Pint: To prepare for processing, microwave the pint container for 30 seconds or run the outside under hot water for a few minutes to soften slightly, facilitating smoother spinning.
  5. Spin in Ninja Creami: Insert the pint into the Ninja Creami machine and select the sorbet setting to process. Alternatively, the lite ice cream setting can be used with equally good results.
  6. Re-Spin if Needed: If the sorbet texture appears dry or chunky after the first spin, use the re-spin function to achieve a creamy, smooth consistency perfect for serving.

Notes

  • Ensure the pint container is on a level surface in the freezer to freeze evenly for best results.
  • The coconut water adds natural sweetness and hydration; you can adjust the quantity slightly based on your taste preference.
  • If you don’t have a microwave, warm water can soften the pint container before spinning.
  • This sorbet is best eaten immediately after spinning or kept in the freezer for a short time to maintain texture.
  • Use ripe, sweet watermelon for optimal flavor.
