Ramen Noodles:
- 2 cakes dry instant ramen noodles (140 g)
Sauce:
- 2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 green onion stalks, white and green parts separated
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes or coarse chili powder
- 2 tablespoon white sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (vegetarian)
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional)
- ¼ cup water
Instructions
- Toast sesame seeds: Toast sesame seeds in a pan over medium heat until golden, then transfer to a bowl.
- Prep the sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, water, and cornstarch in a bowl; set aside.
- Cook the ramen: Boil water, cook ramen noodles per package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Stir fry ramen: Heat sesame oil, sauté white parts of green onion and garlic, add chili flakes, pour in sauce, simmer, add noodles, mix well. Finish with scallion greens and sesame seeds.
